I prefer Masculin Feminin, which is one of my favorite films ever, but I love all that I've seen of Godard. Band of Outsiders strikes me as one of his most accessible films, if that term is even appropriate for someone who is constantly going against convention, using the cinema as an essayistic tool.

Discussion thread for Godard's hybrid film, which uses documentary techniques (the interview, most prominently) in order to present a picture of "the children of Marx and Coca-Cola"...in the context of a "fiction film." Take note that the film is also an off-kilter adaptation of two Guy de Maupassant short stories.
